Yes, we really do live in a cedar cabin alongside the pristine McKenzie River in Oregon's Cascade Mountain foothills. Both my gorgeous wife, Holly, and I attended McKenzie River High School. We've been sweethearts since the prom, and now, after 46 years of marriage, have three dear children and eight awesome grandchildren. Kelly earned a news journalism degree from the University of Oregon and worked for 40 years in writing and editing. He is passionate, to say the least, for photography and Oregon's extraordinary outdoors.
